An established international construction firm with a strong presence across Ireland, the UK, and Northern Europe is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major building projects in Dublin.

The company is recognised for delivering complex, large-scale developments in specialist sectors including Data Centres, Life Sciences, Aviation, Advanced Manufacturing, and Logistics. Reports to: Contracts Manager

Role Overview

As Senior Project Manager, you will oversee projects from early planning through to handover, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will provide leadership to the project team, maintain strong client relationships, and drive commercial and operational success.

Key Duties

  • Prepare and update project programmes with the Contracts Manager, ensuring critical deadlines are met.

  • Assign and manage resources across the team, creating an environment of collaboration and accountability.

  • Champion a strong health & safety culture across all stages of delivery.

  • Monitor quality standards and ensure construction works meet or exceed expectations.

  • Take ownership of cost management, budgets, and subcontractor packages.

  • Work closely with the commercial function to achieve financial targets.

  • Maintain open and professional communication with client representatives, particularly around variations, claims, and potential delays.

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 8 years’ construction experience, including at least 5 years in a project management capacity.

  • Previous exposure to complex or critical environment projects is advantageous.

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and deliver large projects.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including reporting and stakeholder management.

  • Financially and commercially astute, with a problem-solving mindset.

  • Competent in MS Office and project planning software.
