The Roles
Due to continued expansion, our client is seeking both a Project Quantity Surveyor and a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. These roles will suit ambitious QS professionals who want to work directly for a developer rather than a consultancy or contractor, and who enjoy being part of projects from the earliest planning stages through to final delivery.
Project QS Responsibilities:
Assist with cost planning, budgeting, and procurement.
Prepare and manage tender documentation.
Monitor project costs and variations throughout construction.
Support senior staff with reporting and contract administration.
Senior QS Responsibilities:
Lead commercial management of multiple projects.
Oversee tendering, procurement strategy, and contract negotiations.
Manage cost control, forecasting, and value engineering.
Mentor junior QS team members.
Report directly to the Commercial Director on project progress.

Ideal Candidate
Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor.
3+ yearsβ experience for the Project QS role, 7+ years for the Senior QS.
Previous experience in residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and manage contracts.
Confident communicator who can work effectively within project teams.
