We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Senior Engineer to join one of Ireland’s flagship residential developments in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary. This major project comprises 300+ high-quality homes and offers an exceptional opportunity to play a key technical role on a career-defining scheme.
Position: Senior Engineer – Nenagh
Salary: Up to €90,000 + comprehensive package
About the Role:
As Senior Engineer, you will act as a key technical lead on site, ensuring all engineering, setting-out, quality, and compliance requirements are delivered to the highest standard. You will work closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager, subcontractors, and design teams to drive progress and maintain exceptional build quality throughout the development.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all engineering and technical elements of the project, including setting out and QA.
Ensure works are completed in line with design specifications, building regulations, and industry best practice.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain productivity and programme.
Implement and maintain strict quality control and health & safety procedures.
Review drawings, resolve technical issues, and support the project team with solutions.
Maintain detailed site records, reporting, and progress documentation.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Senior Engineer or strong Site Engineer ready to step up.
Background working on large-scale residential or mixed-use construction projects.
Excellent technical knowledge, setting-out ability, and understanding of construction processes.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
Relevant engineering qualifications.
