ACM REC is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a Top 10 Tier 1 Main Contractor on a major construction project in Dublin.
This is a chance to take real commercial ownership on a substantial build, working closely with the project team and senior commercial management to drive performance from procurement through to final account.
THE ROLE
▪️ Manage the commercial delivery of key subcontract packages
▪️ Lead subcontract procurement, tender analysis and negotiations
▪️ Prepare cost reports, forecasts and monthly commercial reviews
▪️ Manage valuations, variations and subcontractor payments
▪️ Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project
▪️ Work closely with the site team to keep budgets and delivery aligned
▪️ Negotiate and agree subcontract final accounts
▪️ Support and mentor junior members of the commercial team
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
✔️ Proven experience as a Senior QS with a main contractor
✔️ A strong track record on large, complex construction projects
✔️ Excellent knowledge of subcontract procurement and commercial management
✔️ Confidence managing negotiations and building strong working relationships
✔️ A proactive approach, sharp commercial judgement and attention to detail
✔️ A qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
