We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finishing Foreman to join a major residential development in Dublin 7.
This is a hands-on, site-based role for an experienced Finishing Foreman who can take ownership of the finishing stages of a large-scale apartment development and ensure works are completed to a high standard and in line with programme.
The successful candidate will be confident coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors, managing finishing works and driving apartments through to completion and handover.
The Role
As Finishing Foreman, you will play a key role in the finishing stages of the development, working closely with the Site Management team to ensure the project progresses efficiently and maintains a high standard of workmanship.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing and coordinating finishing trades and subcontractors on site.
Overseeing the finishing of apartments, common areas and associated works.
Coordinating multiple trades to ensure works are completed in the correct sequence.
Monitoring workmanship and maintaining high-quality standards.
Identifying defects and ensuring they are rectified promptly.
Carrying out regular inspections of completed works.
Coordinating snagging and ensuring apartments are brought through to completion.
Working closely with Site Management to maintain programme.
Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider site team.
Monitoring progress and highlighting any issues that could impact programme.
Ensuring works are completed safely and in accordance with site requirements.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Finishing Foreman with a strong background in residential construction.
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman or similar site-based position.
Strong experience working on residential or apartment developments.
Excellent knowledge of finishing trades and construction sequencing.
Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades.
A strong eye for detail and quality.
Experience managing snagging and final completion works.
Good knowledge of construction drawings and specifications.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
The ability to work independently and take ownership of finishing works.
A proactive approach with the ability to keep works moving on a busy site.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience taking apartment developments through the finishing, snagging and handover stages.
