The opportunity
We are working with a major, established fit out contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality, complex projects across Dublin and the wider region.
With a turnover of circa €80m and a team of around 60+ staff, the business has a strong pipeline of work and an impressive portfolio across the commercial, hospitality, retail, healthcare and data centre sectors. They are now looking to appoint an experienced fit out project manager to join the team and take responsibility for the delivery of major Cat B projects. This is an opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership and operate confidently at a senior level.

The role
Reporting into a contracts manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of your project from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
The role requires a project manager with a strong technical understanding of fit out, particularly around joinery, carpentry, architectural finishes and detailed construction.
You will be responsible for:
Managing the project from mobilisation through to completion
Programme and project delivery
Design and technical coordination
Subcontractor and supply-chain management
Procurement and package management
Quality control and attention to detail
Client, consultant and stakeholder management
Health & safety
Commercial and contractual awareness
Managing project teams and coordinating multiple trades
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality
About you
We are looking for a high-calibre fit out project manager with a minimum of 5 years' experience delivering commercial fit out projects.
A joinery, carpentry or similarly detailed construction background would be highly advantageous, as the role requires someone who understands the detail behind high-quality fit out rather than simply managing at a high level.
You will ideally have experience delivering Cat B commercial projects and be comfortable managing projects valued from €3m up to €40m.

Candidates currently working for a larger contractor at contracts manager level may also be considered, particularly those looking to move into a more agile, high-quality organisation with significant project responsibility.
