A leading Top 10 Irish main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in West Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with 5+ years’ experience who is looking to take the next step with a well-established contractor delivering high-value projects across Ireland.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of projects from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with the project, procurement and construction teams.

The business has a strong pipeline of major projects across sectors including:
Commercial and office developments
Residential and apartment schemes
Large-scale mixed-use developments
Healthcare and public-sector projects
Education projects
Industrial and high-specification developments
Key Responsibilities
Manage the commercial aspects of projects from procurement through to final account
Prepare and manage valuations, variations, claims and payments
Subcontractor procurement and commercial management
Cost reporting and forecasting
Measurement and preparation of tender packages
Contract administration and ensuring contractual obligations are met
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams
Support the delivery of projects within budget and programme
Requirements
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline
5+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role
Main contracting experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement and commercial management
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently while operating effectively within a project team
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
