An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established construction group with a long-standing reputation for delivering major projects across Ireland and the UK.
The business has a strong track record spanning almost a century and operates across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, civil engineering, energy and mission-critical projects. With a growing presence in Dublin, they are now looking to strengthen their commercial team.

The Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from procurement through to completion, working closely with the project and senior management teams.
You will manage costs, commercial performance, procurement and contractual matters while ensuring projects are delivered successfully and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the commercial aspects of projects from pre-construction through to final account.
Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts and cost reports.
Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations and final accounts.
Assess and manage variations, claims and commercial risk.
Monitor project costs and cash flow.
Work closely with the project team to maximise commercial performance.
Provide accurate commercial reporting to senior management.
Develop strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
Support and mentor junior members of the commercial team.
About You
You will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong main contracting background and experience working on large-scale construction projects.
You should have strong knowledge of subcontract procurement, valuations, variations, final accounts and commercial reporting, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Experience across sectors such as commercial, residential, healthcare, data centres, energy or other major construction projects would be highly advantageous.
A relevant Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics qualification is desirable.
